Overboard Binger!

So, I had steak & steak fries (because Texas loves a big bellied gal) & salad & bread. While I only ate half of the steak & fries, I went overboard on bread. I LOVE bread & bread LOVES my belly! After that meal, I did no walking around the outlet mall as intended. I got in my car & drove my binging, bloated ass 46 miles back to SA & climbed in to the bed immediately. 12 hours of "dieting" ensued & now I'm awake & truly considering joining WW with you all so I can stop eating like a cave man. I am fully aware that I cannot lose weight without making better food choices. Nemrac believes the opposite. It's time she take a vacation from my head. :-)  Before I commit to WW, I will give myself 2 weeks of eating cleanly to see if I can stick with self-imposed alterations to my diet. I must admit that the steak binge was the first one in a long, long while & I generally eat small portions. Wish me luck, ladies!  I need a massage! Pretty sure my masseuse does not want to rub this belly. Well, maybe they will for good luck!

Today I will:
= indeed see a movie
= deliver my donations
= walk the park or something like that
= dust, vacuum, & do some laundry
= do sit ups & push ups during Super Bowl commercials

Thankful for:
= recognizing when I've eaten too much
= being a decent writer
= the resolve & positive attitude of Elizabeth (sending well wishes your way)
= the weather
= libraries

* Have already donated my items, walked my apt complex, a load of laundry, & dusted. Can't vacuum until my neighbors awaken. :-)

You eat like a caveman and I eat like a big fat man. You are so hilarious! Come to the dark side...weight watchers is like a cult, minus the nikes and cloks. Oh and communial living.

HA! Mel, you are crackin' me up. Well, I've already decided that complete clean eating is for me, but I'll reduce portions again. And make wiser choices. WW isn't for me quite yet. EEEK! Wish me luck!

If you are not a self help meeting type you may not like WW. If you do join WW make sure you like your leader, that makes a big difference.

((blushing)) Thanks, Carmen.

I think that whoever started this 'Thankful 5s' is a GENIUS, and I think I will also start adding my own at the end of my blog!

KUDOS to you for getting closer to your goals! One day at a time, right?!

Elizabeth, you leave me with no reason to whine! I so appreciate your attitude & am truly wishing you well soon.

I'm pretty sure WW is not for me. You're right TAPS (and I appreciate your honesty), I do not want to be in a self-help group. This one is great enough!
