Long Hand Subtraction...

is something I nearly forgot how to do. Good Morning Delights! I can't tell you how long it took me to find the correct answer to 1100 - 146 the other day. I calculated it in my head in a matter of seconds, but when I "challenged" myself to get that same conclusion via long hand...Ugh! It was bonkers. Borrowing and carrying is all sorts of madness. I think I'll sign up for a math class next semester at the community college. Just to keep my brain marbles shiny.

I accomplished a great deal of kitchen packing yesterday. Today, I'll go through my pile of books and DVD's again & see what can be sold or donated. I'm the roughest, toughest sentimental gal that I know. This means, I have a WHOLE HEAP of random items lying about because of the feelings associated with them. It's time to let them go & just keep the memories in my shiny marbles of a brain. Well, until I develop early onset Alzheimer's and the marbles become dull. That's part of the life cycle, right? I discovered that I'll be within a mile of a movie theater, restaurants, and a Publix grocery store in my new neighborhood. How fantastic is that?!?! I also discovered that planning a bridal shower with others that do not have the same sense of urgency as me is a little frustrating. After several deep breaths and a crispy apple ice cream something dessert at Denny's, the frustration melted.  Right in to my pie hole.

Annette, we hope you and Baby E are doing splendidly! Need anything? (We'll wait for Magic to reply.)
