Cookies

Good Morning Delights! I love cookies! Really, I do. And brownies, too. Anyhoo, upon arriving at work tonight/early morning, I saw that the evening snack was Grandma's Mini Sandwich Cremes cookies. Although I packed 2 types of fruit in my lunch bag, I gobbled up the cookies instead. Remember when I said I was going to do clean/green eating for the month of October? Well, I failed on the 1st day (and the 2nd day), but have since decided to ease in to the clean eating. I will eat clean 4 days per week for October & shoot for 5 days per week in November. Thankfully, it's Monday & I can redeem myself starting now. Today, I will try REALLY hard not to eat any junk or processed foods. I plan on going home & making a tasty salad. Of course, I'm under the influence of Benadryl and may just pass out. We'll see what happens. I also plan to hobble a couple of laps around my apartment complex. I think my foot can handle that before I ice & prop it up. Did I mention that I may pass out due to being hopped up on Benadryl? Yes? I thought so. What's that about & how does that relate to me being hopped up on Benadryl? No idea. Moving on...
Several years ago (1998), I found a great article about renewing your life & preparing for Fall. Debrena Jackson Gandy (she may be a motivational speaker, or at least was at some point) wrote 25 ways to do this. I'll share them as the month goes on. "Clean out your drawers and get rid of raggedy panties and bras. You wouldn't let others see you in torn outerwear. Shouldn't you care as much about how you see yourself?"  Love it!

Today's Objectives:
♣  Make a healthy salad
♣  Refrain from getting hopped up on Benadryl
♣  Walk a couple of laps if my foot can take it
♣  Make corrections to the background check questions I've jacked up
♣  Finish "Bossypants"
