Howdy Delights! The gig in Georgia better be worth it. I'm jumping through hoops of fire trying to complete paper work, background checks, fingerprinting, and drug testing to get there. I still think they're gonna call me at some point in the near future and say, "Oh, we are sooooo sorry. We got your name mixed up with someone named Karen Alexander and we're not hiring you afterall." And you know what, I'll just have to laugh about the entire thing. How the hades do you hire someone without interviewing them first? I mean...yes, I'm fabulous with an ultra fabulous resume, but give me a chance to have a fabulous interview! :) Just joshin'. Sorta. Seriously, I hope all goes smoothly and I'll be on my way to GA by the end of October. Now I need to figure out a way to get outta my lease. Wouldntyaknow the opportunity comes right after I just signed it for another year?!?!
I miss walking. I've been hobbling around work with my [probably] fractured foot & wishing I could move faster. Today I'm going for xray's after I go get fingerprinted and pee in a cup. And who knows what else for this gig. Anyhoo, I'm almost certain there's a fracture and I just need a boot to stabilize the madness. I want to be back in business STAT! I can be this sexy:
So, as previously stated, my objectives for the day are to get a drug test, fingerprinted, and foot help. I probably should lift weights or something, too.
