Piddlin' Around...

Howdy Divas!

Guess who did nothing on her list from yesterday! You're all x-word and Sudoku bright and have probably already figured out to point your pinkies my way. Winner! Winner! Pot Roast Dinner! I don't know what happened yesterday. I was so tired after work that I just wanted to shower & sleep upon arriving home. But  the Creepy Monster had it in for me. I wasn't able to get in my place. The deadbolt was locked from inside. I'm thinking, "SHIZER! Someone's in my apartment just waiting to bludgeon me senseless with my very own Louisville slugger!" I go back down the stairs and wait in my car for a bit. Then go to the apartment office complex & dial the emergency #, which never gets answered. Decided that I was hungry & I also needed to pee really bad. Took myself to breakfast and called a few folks to say, "Hey, I might get beaten upon entering my apartment, so .... uhh... peace out." After eating, I felt braver. Went back to my apartment & opened the door with no trouble. Which leads me to Matlock this case as so: Carmen comes home from work. She's exhausted from cruising the interweb for 7 straight hours. She's also a bit parched and famished. She heads up the stairs to her apartment and finds she cannot get in. [Fast forward to 1.5 hours] Turns out, it wasn't her apartment after all. She was trying to get in to a neighbors place. Good thing it was early enough for them to be passed out and not see the fro'y chocolate girl pretend to break and enter. Finito.

I guess that's what happened. But, I'm not for certain. Either way, I'm inside my place with all of my belongings. Had a couple of visitors, lots of phone chatter, & a mini-trip out of town to have coffee with a friend. There was no time to be productively healthy. Today, I've walked my 3+ miles, had a wonderful breakfast, and saw "Bridesmaids." Do see it Divas! It's hilarious! I'll get to a movie in my Netflix queue and diet for a couple of hours. I'm tired!

Enjoy the day!
