Good Morning Divas!
Why do I think there are so many more hours in the day than what I really have? By the time I finished my orientation at Meals on Wheels, it was nearly 2pm. And 2pm = DIET time. But, to prove I can accomplish more than one stinking thing during the day, I picked up one of the b-day gifts, watched the season finale of Community, and viewed my beau's (Jon Stewart) latest shows as well as his battle with Bill O'Reilly. I did get the stroll & push ups in. No ab work. No cultural event. No overachieving. But at least there were SOME achievements. Better than nada, no? Sure.
This evening/morning at work proved to be pretty chaotic. The 4 of us on this shift had an impromptu staff meeting that turned bananas within a few minutes. I remained Zenfully calm & tried to be neutral and offer solutions. We'll see what happens from here on out. (Have I ever mentioned that I love being a woman & think that women are fabulous in general BUT I don't like working with an all-woman team?!?! Bonkers!) Then there was a guy up that's always suicidal. Another hardly ever sleeps & just wants to drink java from 1a-forever a.m. A 3rd fella comes to me at 3'ish and says he pissed the bed & his foot hurts but he doesn't think it's the gout because the gout goes away when he takes his pills and that this is all abnormal and so on... Yowzuh! And he's just walkin' about barefoot this whole time. I so so so love the 3:00 chaos! Welcome to my world, Divas! Come in. The crazys just fine. Stay a while.
Today's Objectives:
♪ Begin food journal (thanks Ms. Magic)
♪ Some sort of fitness. My usual stroll won't happen because I'm going to breakfast right after work.
♪ A cultural something
Enjoy the day Divas!

Are you going to drive the meals on wheels truck? I think you should!!! I think it's great you are doing a nice act.
Magic, I won't be driving the trucks but that would be a dang blast! I'll be delivering meals to the wonderful folks that need'em. I'm sure this summer will be chalk full of interesting tales!
