Guten Tag Sisters! I'm sure I've mentioned once or 67 times that my nurses can some times drive me bonkers. What's the point of going through a rigorous nursing program if you don't want to use any of your skills?!?! Tonight, we had a guy that couldn't stop coughing, which was causing him breathing difficulty. Plus, the cough was so bad that his back was hurting. What do my TWO nurses do? They call me and have me take him to the emergency room. They didn't get his vital signs or anything. Maybe it's just me, but when someone is having a difficult time breathing & walking due to back pain and a progressive cough, an ambulance should be called. Dork faces! Uggh. At least come to work and do the bare minimums! Double uggh...uggh. I know I'm gonna have to bust my voluptuous (yes, there's sarcasm here) booty on day shift, but I think that'll be good for me. Can't promise that the incompetent RN on days won't hear a few slick words from me, but at least I can get him to do some work. I'm done with that for now. Thanks.

Thank you all for chiming in on the beauty standard piece. I knew it would be an insightful discussion. I got in a jog/walk yesterday. It was so flippin' hot by the time I got out there. Ridiculous. I did the abs and arms, too. Now all I need is a long straight weave & some skin lightener. Just joshin'. :-D
Today's Objectives:
♣ Contact the dean's office about registering for classes
♣ Complete the paperwork to have the GI Bill pay for said classes
♣ Chat the boss lady up about what really goes on w/ the night nurses. I was truly trying to avoid this "snitching" behavior. But hell...I've spoken to them about how things should be done & what we're supposed to do, but they opt out.
♣ Calm down & enjoy the day. :)
♣ Collect some fruit & yogurt from the market.
As you can tell, I like the letter C. Own the day Sisters!
