Good Morning Glories!
Yesterday was bumpy but eventually smoothed out. My car was vandalized here at work, so I had to deal with that instead of darting off for my 3-mile saunter. Crazy thing is, I'm sure whoever was in my car just wanted me to get scared. Nothing valuable was taken. One cd, some sneakers and socks, a jacket, a make up bag w/ pads and tampons and hair pins inside. I have 3 cd cases in my car, my digital camera was in the glove box along with a nice knife, & there's a few dollars in the ashtray. They're all still there. But my sun shades were un-folded and neatly placed over the seats of my car. Bleh. I'm thrilled that a window or door handle wasn't broken & I was able to get on with my day. Off to the library I went. Got an interesting, sexy book & a movie. And guess what else: My walking partner is so freakin' AWESOME she met me later for a walk around her neighborhood. Ole! So, what could've been a horrible day turned out relatively decent. I believe have I not become such an exerciser, I wouldn't have handled the events as well. Hooray for fitness! Today I will watch the library movie, walk a bit, have breakfast with the security guard who recently professed his love, & write thank you notes to the housekeeping staff (they have to deal w/ a lot here b/c these fellas are kinda nasty!).
